Halloween puzzle 2026: three chain puzzles for 31 October
Three block puzzles for Halloween, free in your browser: easy, medium and hard, in pumpkin orange, witch purple, slime green and candle gold. They open at midnight UTC on 31 October 2026 and stay playable after that.
Each board clears in an exact number of moves, and each one is built around a chain: a fall that lands in a new match. Swap two blocks side by side, line up three or more of one colour, and let the blocks above drop. If you run out of moves, reset and try another opening swap.
The easy board is a two-move warm-up. The medium board clears in three moves and hides a 3-chain. The hard board needs four moves, with a 3-chain to find.
How to play
- Swap two blocks that sit side by side. You may swap a block into an empty cell.
- Three or more of one colour in a row or a column clear, and the blocks above fall.
- A fall that lands in a new match is a chain. Every Halloween board is built around one.
- Clear every block within the move limit. Every swap counts, even one that matches nothing.
