How to Play Cascade Puzzle — Interactive Tutorial

The tutorial teaches the game hands-on, one mechanic at a time, on boards built for exactly that lesson. Each lesson shows you which blocks to swap, so you learn by making the move rather than by reading about it.

It starts with a single three-in-a-row match and builds up to chain reactions, setup moves that clear nothing on their own, and multi-move plans. Your progress is saved, so you can leave and come back to the lesson you were on.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to finish the tutorial before playing?

No. The tutorial is optional and can be skipped at any point, and your progress is saved if you leave partway through. The first campaign levels also work as a gentle introduction.

Can you swap blocks vertically?

No. Only horizontally adjacent blocks can be swapped. To move a block downward you clear the blocks beneath it and let gravity drop it.
